Public Speaking

At Crust our teachers make best efforts to equip our children with the confidence and skill to speak in public, so they learn & grow to do some incredible things in life. We believe public speaking skill in children develops openness and helps our children to express fearlessly and simply succeed in connecting with others more effectively.

‘COMMUNICATION’ is one of our key values for learning.

Our regular public speaking activities at Crust, will give our children an opportunity to practice speaking in front of audience with ease and experience healthy competition among other children.

Reading

‘A Child who reads, will be an adult who Thinks’

A regular habit of reading significantly improves a Child’s imagination. At Crust we focus on developing a child’s reading ability with appropriate age based books. By following dedicated reading time in the class hours for our children as part of curriculum, we aim to improve quality of reading time.

We follow phonics instruction to help children learn the alphabetic principle which is the idea that letters represent the sounds of spoken language.
Aim of this curriculum is to foster children’s growth and learning: socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and creatively.

Story Telling

Stories spark curiosity in children and tap into emotions and experience they undergo.

At Crust we engage children with entertaining and educational stories to keep them engaged and interested.

We encourage our children to develop creativity through ‘art of storytelling’.

Junior Sports

Sports Day helps children to explore their hidden sports interests as they enjoy a healthy competition with each other. More than the physical activity, such events help children build confidence and social skills and also teaches them the benefits of goal-setting and practice.

Our Annual sports day is popular event where children learn hands-on about the need to abide by the rules, team work, fair play and respect for others.

Parents participation is fun and engaging for children seeing their parents playing a game or sport whilst their little ones are cheering for them.

Field Trips

Field trips offer children new experiences, Increased motivation for learning, ability to acquire new knowledge and skills.

At Crust field trips are planned in yearly calendar for various age groups. Some of the most popular field trips we conduct are to Fire station, Birds Aviary,Supermarket, Local Church, Nature Park and other interesting places.
